Hiking in Wilderness

Much of the best hiking on Mt. Hood is in designated wilderness, where rules on group size, campfires and camping spots apply, and a free self-issued permit is needed at many trailheads in season. Fill one out at the trailhead box when one is there, and leave no trace.
