The Government Camp Highway Maintenance Sno-Park is a winter parking area in the Zigzag Ranger District. Coming from Sandy, follow US Highway 26 east until you reach the Timberline Road junction.
It’s a simple lot with room for about 80 cars and space for trailers. A trailhead board with a map helps you get your bearings before setting out. Facilities are minimal, with no restrooms and no drinking water, so plan ahead and bring everything you’ll need for the day.
