Frog Lake Sno-Park and Trailhead does double duty in the Hood River Ranger District. Coming from Portland, take Highway 26 east past its junction with Highway 35. Through the warmer months it is a busy hikers’ trailhead, and once snow arrives it turns into a Sno-Park.

Trails from here include Frog Lake Trail #530, Frog Lake Butte Trail #484, and the Pacific Crest Trail #2000, and you can see Mt. Hood from Frog Lake. In winter, people come to cross-country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, and run dog sleds. There is a horse hitching pole and vault toilets, but no drinking water.
