Despite the name, Three Mile Trail #466 is 4.3 miles long. It was named for nearby Threemile Creek, not its length. The trail skirts the edge of the Badger Creek Wilderness and sees light use.
Park at the turnout where spur road 4811-015 leaves Forest Road 4811, reached from White River Road (Forest Road 48), and follow Mud Spring Trail #466A 0.3 mile to the junction with Post Camp Trail #467. From there the trail heads west about 3 miles across level, grassy ground, then forks, with one branch going to Forest Road 4860-140 and the other to Forest Road 4860. Volunteers from the Back Country Horsemen of Oregon help maintain it.
