Few hikers use Post Camp Trail #467, a more difficult connector in the Badger Creek Wilderness between Mud Spring Trail #466A and Badger Creek Trail #479. That makes it a quiet way to reach Badger Creek Trail.

Start from the turnout where spur road 4811-015 leaves Forest Road 4811, reached from White River Road (Forest Road 48) by way of Wamic or OR Hwy 35, and walk Mud Spring Trail #466A north 0.3 mile. Post Camp Trail then runs 1 mile to Pine Creek Trail #465, crosses Pine Creek on a bridge and continues 1.7 miles to its end at Badger Creek Trail #479. Volunteers with the Back Country Horsemen of Oregon help with maintenance.
