Glade Trail #661 climbs steeply between Crosstown Trail #755 and historic Timberline Lodge. When snow covers it, lots of skiers use it to run downhill from Timberline to Government Camp, which is why it is a poor fit for cross-country skiers and snowshoers. In late summer, hikers find huckleberries in abundance.

To start at the top, drive 29.2 miles east of Sandy on US 26 and turn left on Timberline Road. After 5.3 miles, park in the main lot at Timberline Lodge and walk up toward the lodge entrance. The lower end of the trail joins Crosstown Trail #755.
