Maintained with horses in mind, Miller Trail #534 keeps to a gentle grade as it winds 2.1 miles through the forest near Timothy Lake. It leaves the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 east of Clackamas Lake Campground at about 3,440 feet, heads northwest across several roads, and ends at Timothy Lake Trail #528 close to the lake’s southeast arm.

A handy starting point is Joe Graham Campground on Skyline Road (Forest Road 42), about 0.6 mile away via Joe Graham Trail #524 and the PCT. Hikers and riders can make a 4.3-mile loop back along the PCT, and cyclists can tie it into a 16-mile loop with the Headwaters, Timothy Lake and Old 1916 trails.
