This very easy trail links Boulder Lake with its smaller neighbor, Little Boulder Lake, and keeps the water in sight as you go. It makes a simple add-on for anyone already headed to Boulder Lake.

The quickest approach starts on Forest Road 4880 at Boulder Lake Trailhead, reached from Hood River by Highway 35 and Forest Roads 48 and 4890. Walk 0.4 mile west on Boulder Lake Trail #463 to the junction. From Bonney Meadows Campground, the same trail runs 1.7 miles south to this spur. Volunteers with the 44 Trails Association help keep it maintained.
