Part of the Government Camp trail network, Yellowjacket runs between Timberline Road and White River West Sno-Park. Cross-country skiers and snowshoers use it when there is snow, and hikers and mountain bikers take it over in summer. It ties into neighboring trails, so you can piece together a loop. Follow the posted markers as you go.

From Sandy, drive about 30 miles on Highway 26 and turn left onto Timberline Road; the trail leaves from the right side of that road. The lot at the White River West end holds around 200 vehicles plus trailers and tends to fill fast. Watch for fallen limbs and other debris on the tread.
