Dublin Lake Trail #401B is a spur in the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness that leaves Tanner Butte Trail #401 at about 3,760 feet and drops down the ridge’s steep eastern slope to Dublin Lake, a small lake at roughly 3,520 feet.

Getting there takes some effort. From the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail parking lot at I-84 exit 40, near Bonneville Dam, it is about 5.3 miles by forest road and Trail #401 to the start of this spur. The lake is well off the beaten path and sees little use, which makes it a quiet backpacking goal with three dispersed campsites.
