Paddlers and anglers use Sandstone Bridge Boat Access to get down to the Upper Clackamas, a Wild and Scenic river, in the Clackamas River Ranger District. People stop here to launch onto the river’s whitewater or to cast a line. It is one of three river access sites that Portland General Electric manages with the Forest Service.

From Estacada, follow OR Hwy 224 east for about 21 miles, turn right on Forest Road 4620, and look for the site on the left past milepost 45, close to Indian Henry Campground. There are no restrooms or drinking water. The Riverside Fire damaged this site, so stay alert for fire-killed trees, unstable slopes, mudslides and flash flooding.
