Fishing and paddling are the main draws at Rock Creek Reservoir Day Use, which sits next to Rock Creek Reservoir Campground in the Barlow Ranger District. Access is by Forest Road 4820. The site has a boat ramp and a picnic area, it’s wheelchair accessible, and there’s a hiking trail nearby.

The reservoir holds bass and bluegill and gets regular stockings of rainbow trout. Canoes and other non-motorized boats are a natural fit on the water here. Plan on vault toilets and no drinking water, so pack in what you’ll need for the day.
