Hole in the Wall Boat Access is a day-use site on the Upper Clackamas, a Wild and Scenic river, in the Clackamas River Ranger District. It serves whitewater boaters heading onto the upper river and anglers looking for a place to fish. Portland General Electric looks after it in partnership with the Forest Service, as one of three river access points it manages on the Clackamas.

Look for it on the right side of OR Hwy 224 at milepost 41, east of Estacada. A vault toilet is on site, but there is no drinking water, so fill your bottles before you leave town.

Getting there

From Estacada, OR

  1. Travel east on OR Hwy 224 about 11 miles.
  2. Site is on the right at milepost 41.
