The Indian Henry trailhead gives hikers a way onto Clackamas River Trail #715, which continues into the Clackamas Wilderness. It’s in the Clackamas River Ranger District, 26.7 miles from Estacada by way of Oregon Highway 224.

Look for Forest Road 4620 about three quarters of a mile south of milepost 45 and turn right. In under half a mile, turn right again into a paved parking lot. The trail leaves from the right-hand (northeast) side of the lot. There are no restrooms or drinking water here, so plan ahead and bring what you’ll need for the day.

  1. Follow OR Hwy 224 26.7 miles to Forest Road 4620 (~0.75 mile south of milepost 45).

  3. Travel less than 0.5 mile and turn right into the paved trailhead parking lot across from the closed Indian Henry Campground.
