Big Eddy is a small day-use area on the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River, in the Clackamas River Ranger District. It sits just off Highway 224, roughly 13 miles east of Estacada, so it is an easy stop on a drive up the river.

People come here to spread out at the picnic tables, fire up a barbecue, fish the river, and take a swim when the weather turns hot. Rapids run a short distance upstream, so use care in and around the water. There is a vault toilet on site but no drinking water, so bring your own.
