Ripplebrook Campground is a small camp along the Oak Grove Fork of the Clackamas River, in the Clackamas River Ranger District. It’s set up mainly for tents, though tent trailers and small RVs fit too. Fly fishing and whitewater rafting are both popular close by. From Estacada, it’s 26 miles east on Highway 224, beyond the Ripplebrook Store.

The 2020 Riverside Fire burned through this area, and some sites have little shade, so a pop-up canopy is worth packing. Use care around the burn and look out for damaged trees, eroded slopes, missing trails, and the risk of mudslides or flash floods. The campground has vault toilets but no drinking water.
