Pine Point Campground is on Timothy Lake’s southwest shore, below Mt. Hood at about 3,200 feet in the Zigzag Ranger District. From Highway 26, follow Skyline Road (Road 42) south for 9 miles, then go west on Forest Road 57 for about 2 miles to the entrance.
Miles of trails surround the campground, and the lake is right there for fishing, boating and picnicking. Boaters can leave vehicles in a big lakeshore lot. Besides single and double sites, there is a group camp with two loops that each hold 36 people, located opposite the day-use area. Barrier-free campsites and restrooms, vault toilets and drinking water are provided.
