A short way north of Mount Jefferson, Olallie Meadow Campground sits in the Clackamas River Ranger District. It’s a rustic spot where solitude comes naturally, and the views around it are a big part of the appeal.

Bring a lunch for a picnic and a rod for some lake fishing. There’s no drinking water, so carry in what you’ll need. From Estacada, Highway 224 becomes Forest Road 46; turn east on Forest Road 4690, which changes from pavement to gravel, then head south on Forest Road 4220 for just over a mile to the campground.
