Lower Eightmile Crossing is a small campground with a day-use area along Eightmile Creek in the Barlow Ranger District. It has just three campsites and sits below Eightmile Campground. From Dufur, drive west on Forest Road 44 for about 15 miles, then turn north on Forest Road 4440 for a mile.

Day visitors come to picnic by the water and fish the creek. Facilities are simple: there are vault toilets, but no drinking water, so bring enough for everyone in your group.
