Lockaby Campground sits right beside the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River in the Clackamas River Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest. To get there from Estacada, follow Highway 224 southeast about 20 miles; you’ll find the campground just off the highway, so the drive in is straightforward.
The Riverside Fire did extensive damage to this campground, and that history is part of the place now. The official Forest Service details shown above list what’s available on site, so look them over before you plan a stay by the river.
