Horseshoe Lake Campground lines the shore of its namesake lake in the Olallie Scenic Area, a little south of Monon Lake, in the Clackamas River Ranger District. True to its name, the lake bends into a horseshoe, with a small channel running into its southern half. Camp lies between the water and Forest Road 4220, yet this corner of the forest is remote enough that little traffic comes by.

Days here go to fishing, hiking, non-motorized boating and picnics by the lake. Expect vault toilets and no drinking water, so bring your own. From Estacada the drive runs about 61 miles: Highway 224, then Forest Roads 46, 4690 and 4220.
