Near Clear Lake in the Hood River Ranger District, Clear Lake Overflow Campground is a camping area reached by Forest Road 2630. The lake stores water that irrigates farm fields east of the forest, so its level drops as that water is drawn off for agriculture.

Bring a picnic, and bring drinking water too, since none is provided. Help keep the lake in good shape for wildlife and the next campers: carry out your trash, and deal with human waste properly so the area stays clean.
