Bonney Crossing is a quiet campground on Badger Creek in the Barlow Ranger District, set at one of the gateways into the Badger Creek Wilderness. Badger Creek Trail #479 can be joined at its east end right from camp, which makes it a handy base for hiking and horseback riding. Horses and pack animals can stay at the site.
Anglers fish the creek, and picnicking fills out the day. From Wamic, head west on Forest Road 48, then work your way through Forest Roads 4810, 4811 and 2710 to reach camp. Facilities are simple: one vault toilet.
