Tall cedars and old-growth Douglas fir shade Bagby Campground, which sits on the Collawash River’s Hot Springs Fork in the Clackamas River Ranger District. Its location is the big draw, making it an easy base for a soak at Bagby Hot Springs and for primitive trails that lead into the Bull of the Woods Wilderness.
From Estacada, take Highway 224 until it becomes Forest Road 46, turn onto Forest Road 63, then follow signs for Bagby Hot Springs onto Forest Road 70. The campground parking area is about 7 miles west along Road 70, on the left. Campsites come with picnic tables and fire rings.
