Clackamas Lake Campground sits beside a small, very shallow lake in the Clackamas River Ranger District, not far from Timothy Lake. Campers come to fish, swim and do some unhurried boating, and there are trails and historic sites to explore in the area.

Horse campers will find corrals here, built by Oregon Equestrian Trails volunteers working with the Forest Service. The campground has vault toilets and potable water. From Sandy, drive about 40 miles east on Highway 26 to Skyline Road (Forest Road 42), head south 10 miles to the Clackamas Lake sign, then turn left and go a quarter mile to the entrance.
