Kingfisher Campground sits beside the Hot Springs Fork of the Collawash River, which runs into the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River. It belongs to the Clackamas River Ranger District, and Bull of the Woods Wilderness is just south of camp. The camp has a rustic, natural look while still offering some modern comforts.
Taking in the scenery is the main pastime, and plenty of other recreation is within reach. The campground has vault toilets and drinking water. From Estacada, take Highway 224 east, then Roads 46, 63 and 70; the trip from town to the campground is roughly 37 miles.
