Dry Fir Trail #674A is a quiet forest route between two backroad trailheads south of US 26. The north end is on Sherar Burn Road (Forest Road 2613), beyond Still Creek Campground. The south end is at the end of Forest Road 2656-903 off Trillium Lake Road, shared with Veda Lake Trail #673.

Starting from the north, the trail heads down the ridge through the trees. Early on it crosses an old clearcut that looks out over the Cascade Range, then drops back into forest on a moderate grade with plenty of switchbacks. A couple of small creeks break up the descent, which finishes in a logged area at the south end.
