Meant for skiing rather than hiking, the Pocket Creek Tie Trail is rated a more difficult ski route. It starts at Bennett Pass Sno-Park and runs to the Pocket Creek Trail, and it also connects with the Teacup Lake Trail, giving skiers a few ways to link up a tour.

Hikers should look elsewhere, since this one is not recommended on foot. From Hood River, it is about 32 miles south on Highway 35 to the Bennett Pass Road exit (Forest Service Road 3550), and the trailhead sits on the right.
