Teacup Nordic is a groomed cross-country ski area in the Hood River Ranger District, at about 4,400 feet. Roughly 15 miles of wide trails wind through tall Douglas firs with views of Mt. Hood, and they suit both skate and classic skiers. Teacup Nordic also runs programs for skiers young and old.

From Hood River, follow Oregon Highway 35 south for 34 miles; the large lot, called the Teacup Lake Sno-Park, is on the left. From Portland, the I-84 route through Hood River is the less crowded drive. The lot holds more than 200 vehicles, and long rigs should use the ends. Vault toilets are on site; drinking water is not.
